Ashgate
Mr Frank Key of Ashgate, passed away on February 3, 2025, at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 88 years.
Born in Hasland, Frank was a lifelong local resident. He had a long and successful career as a fireman both in Chesterfield and Glossop before working as the fire officer at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
Frank's interests included sport, especially football, gardening, holidays in Cyprus and walking.
Frank leaves his wife Brenda, sons Russell, Chris and Tony, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughter Caroline.
Service to take place at Chesterfield Crematorium on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 1.50pm.

I do remember Frank from his role as Fire Officer @Chesterfield FC during the 80's ,he used his fire service contacts to get me a couple sections of old fire hose pipe reels to water the Saltergate pitch ! ..
