Harold Phillips

Mr Harold Phillips, of Hasland, has died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 70.
Born at Whittington Moor, he had been a lifelong resident of Derbyshire.
An engineer with Robinsons and Trebor, Mr Phillips enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was a keen sports enthusiast who played football for Chesterfield Boys, cricket and snooker, enjoyed horse racing and was a lifelong Manchester United fan.
He leaves a widow, Margaret, son Paul, and grandchildren Nicola and Christopher.
A service takes place today at 11.45am at St Paul's Church, Hasland, followed by cremation at Chesterfield.
The are no flowers by request and donations are for the Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU).
