Mr Harold Wright
Hackenthorpe
Mr Harold Ernest Wright of Hackenthorpe, Sheffield has passed away at home on December 13, 2025, aged 84.
Born in Deptford, London and a resident of the Sheffield area for over 30 years, Harold was a plumbing and heating engineer for 47 years, until his retirement in 2006.
He was involved with 6th Eckington Scout Group for over 50 years, both as a helper and leader. His other interests included caravanning, his Alsatian dogs, rifle range shooting and Scotch Malt Whiskey.
Harold leaves his wife of 60 years Sheila, grandchildren Sophie and Katie. He was predeceased by daughter Helen Margaret.
The funeral service takes place on Friday, January 9, 2026, St Peter & St Paul's Church, Eckington, at 2pm, followed by committal at City Road Crematorium, for immediate family only.
No flowers by request.
