Old Whittington
Irene Joyce Twigg of Old Whittington, has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, on January 30, 2025, aged 80.
Born in Chesterfield and a lifelong local resident, Irene was a nursing auxillary until her retirement.
Her interests included watching murder mysteries, spending time with family, doing crosswords and puzzles.
Irene was predeceased by her husband Keith. She leaves sons Alan and Ian, daughter Rachel, grandchildren Molly, Ruby, Lennon, Beau and Ethan.
The funeral service takes place on Monday, March 17, 2025, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 10.50am. Afterwards onto the Cock & Magpie Pub, Old Whittington for drinks and a chat.
