Ivan Marriott
Ivan Marriott has sadly passed away aged 88 years old.
Born in Holmewood, but when he married his wife Amy (deceased) they moved to live in Clay Cross where he resided for over 65 years before moving to live with his son and daughter-in-law in Walton and more recently at Bank Close House Care Home in Hasland.
Before retiring Ivan worked at Ashton Containers, Peak Design and behind the bar at Bestwood Working Men's Club.
He liked holidays abroad in the sun and holidayed twice a year in Skegness.
Ivan leaves sons Neil and Patrick, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The service will take place on Wednesday, December 10, 10.30am at Chesterfield Crematorium.
Family flowers only any donations to Ashgate Hospice.
