John Gillway Obituary
Mr John Gillway, of Bolsover, has passed away, aged 69.
Born at Stanfree and a lifelong local resident, John was a garage proprietor (Castle MOT & Repairs Ltd).
His interests included motorbikes, Moto GP and Superbikes, caravan holidays.
John leaves his wife Lorraine, sons Christopher and Ben, stepsons Tim and Alan, daughters-in-law Susie, Hannah and Anita, grandchildren Aaron, Daniel, Jody, Dillon, Bella and Mason, sister Pat.
The funeral service takes place on Tuesday November 5, 2019, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 1.50pm.
Donations to the Air Ambulance and Ashgate Hospice.
Funeral directors: Stubbins & Hope, 55 High Street, Bolsover, Chesterfield (01246 823355).

RIP John. Lovely bloke who was as honest as they come. Always happy to help out a young motorist - when I used to take my first car to him he was always sympathetic and gave an honest account as to what was needed in which priority. Hard to find someone as honest. Thanks John.
