John Brian
Died peacefully at Valley Lodge Care Home on 29th November 2025, aged 90.
He is survived by loving wife Dorothy, daughter Jackie, son Philip and grandchildren Joe and Ella.
Brian was Principal lecturer and Head of French Department at Matlock College of Higher Education.
He was a keen distance runner and a founder member of Matlock Athletic Club. He had been a member of Matlock Methodist Church for over 50 years.
The funeral service will be held at Amber Valley Crematorium on
Tuesday 6th January 2026 at 2pm.
