John Jaquest Obituary
Mr John Jaquest Shuttlewood Mr John Roy Jaquest, of Shuttlewood, Chesterfield, has passed away at home aged 97.
Born in Staveley, John was a local resident for 61 years. He started work in service for Lord and Lady Montegue, worked at Entovens, Arkwright & Markham pit and lastly at Coalite where he was Senior Foreman fitter, until early retirement aged 61 years.
John enjoyed gardening, he was a member of Phoenix singers, loved dancing, liked holidays, spending time with family, get togethers, outings and picnics.
John was predeceased by his wife Jeanne, his son John and his grandson Steven, he leaves his partner Patricia Richardson, his daughter Marilyn, daughter in law Pauline, son in law John, grandchildren Joanne, Emily and Laura, great grandchildren Amy, Charlotte, Lexi, Oliver, Ella and Evie and great great grandchild Aoife.
The funeral service takes place on Thursday April 22, 2021, 12pm at Bolsover Parish Church, followed by burial at Bolsover Cemetery, Oxcroft Lane.
