Keith Walkley

Mr Keith Charles Walkley, of Newbold, Chesterfield, has died at home, aged 82.Born at Chesterfield and a lifelong resident of the area, he was a petty officer in the Royal Navy and then a telephone engineer until his retirement. Mr Walkley enjoyed music, particularly classical, he was an accomplished pianist, liked reading books and newspapers, crosswords, suduko, puzzle solving, walking, photography, painting and sketching. He leaves widow Marguerite Helen, two sons, one daughter, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.The service is due to take place at Chesterfield crematorium, on Monday, February 10, at 12.30pm.
