Mr Kenneth Thomas Ellis of Springbank Nursing Home, Ashgate has passed away, aged 81.
Born in Curbar and a lifelong resident of Derbyshire, Kenneth was a housing manager with Chesterfield Borough Council until his retirement.
He was organist and choirmaster of various choirs, both church choir and secular choirs throughout his life.
Kenneth leaves his wife Angela, daughter Lucy, stepsons Ian and Neil, grandchildren Adam, Luke, Jacob, Esmae, Alex and Isaac.
The funeral service has taken place with donations to the Alzheimer's Society.
