Mr Kenneth Keeton
Whitwell
Mr Kenneth William Keeton of Whitwell has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, on September 22, aged 92.
Born in Hodthorpe and a lifelong local resident, Ken was an Electrical Engineer with the National Coal Board for 37 years, until his retirement in 1986.
His interests included photography, local history, Whitwell Wood Group, portrait painting, foreign holidays and rambling.
Ken was predeceased by his wife Janet in 2001. He leaves son Miles, grandchildren Thomas and Alyssia.
The funeral service takes place on Wednesday, October 22, St Lawrence Church, Whitwell, at 11.30am, followed by burial at Whitwell Council Cemetery. Afterwards at Whitwell Community Centre.
