Kathlyn (Lyn) Watts of Chesterfield has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital on October 29, 2025, aged 88 years.
Born in Chesterfield, Lyn was a lifelong local resident. She was a secretary to Borough Treasurers at Chesterfield Borough Council.
Her interests included walking, reading, dancing and gardening.
Lyn leaves her husband Alan, daughter Jacqueline, son David, grandchildren Aletia and Oriann, great-grandchild Elias.
Service to take place at B. Hattersley & Sons service chapel on Friday, November 21, at 2.00pm.
Any donations given in memory of Lyn will go to The
Alzheimer's Society, these may be given on the day or can be sent to B. Hattersley & Sons, 211 Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield S40 2BA. (01246 232820).
