Mr Martyn Walker has passed away peacefully in the care of Lindsey Lodge Hospice on October 26, 2025, aged 68 years.
Born in Chesterfield and raised in Dronfield, Martyn was employed by AE Parsons of Chesterfield, from 1973, until he transferred to BOC Scunthorpe around 20 years later.
He enjoyed watching football and rugby union and walking with his friends in the Dales, as well as pub quizzes and spending time with his brother's family.
He was the beloved brother of Ian and stepbrother of Marguerite, adored uncle of Richard and Laura, special great-uncle of Harrison, Amelia, Felicity, Charlie and cherished by so many more.
Would family and friends please meet at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 12 noon for service and committal.
