Mrs Melanie Jane Watson (Mel), of New Tupton, Chesterfield has died at home, aged 49.Born in Sheffield, she had lived locally all her life.Mrs Watson had worked as a Teaching Assistant and later as a self-employed Car Trader until her illness.Her hobbies included gardening, and holidays abroad, but first and foremost was her family.She leaves her husband Christopher, sons Daniel and wife Kelly, Matthew and partner Carrie, and Ben, step-sons Tony and partner Traford, Kyle and wife Amanda, grandsons Kian, Kayden and Leo, granddaughter Grace, also her parents and her brother Mark.The funeral service has taken place at Chesterfield Crematorium on Tuesday June 17.Funeral directors: B.Hattersley & Sons Ltd, 211 Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield (01246 232820)
