Old Whittington
Mr Michael George Hitchman of Old Whittington has passed away at home, aged 66.
Born in Chesterfield and a lifelong local resident, Michael attended Edwin Swale School from 1970-1975, then was a NHS Housekeeper and worked at GKN Stokes Engineers, until his retirement in 2022.
His interests included fishing, television and films, especially Star Trek, Star Wars and The Simpsons.
Michael leaves his partner Julie, son Steven, daughters Katie and Rachel, grandchildren Mack, Lenny, Blanie, Pria and Frankie.
The funeral service takes place on Friday, March 28, 2025, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 11.50am.
