Mr Michael John Kerry of Middlecroft, Staveley has passed away at Northern General Hospital, Sheffield, aged 61.
Born in Chesterfield and a lifelong local resident, Michael was a cleaner, retiring due to ill health. He had previously been a security guard for many years.
His interests included watching Last of the Summer Wine, Carry On films and gardening programmes, having a beer and a laugh with family and friends, playing with his grandchildren, if they were happy he was happy.
Michael leaves his wife Samantha, children Samuel, Charlotte, Ashley, Wendy, Jacqui and Toni, grandchildren Olivia and Brogan. He was predeceased by son James.
The funeral service took place on 17th November, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 12.10pm.
