Mr Michael Wigston of Grassmoor has passed away at Brookholme Croft, Hasland, aged 82.
Born in Grassmoor and a lifelong local resident, Michael worked in the engineering production planning department at Markham & Co, Chesterfield, from leaving school until the site closed in 1997.
He took pride in his garden and holidays in Skegness with his family.
Michael leaves his sister Irene Kerry, brother-in-law Goff Kerry, nephews Paul and Alex Kerry, niece Jane Mason, her husband Phil Mason and their children Reece and Holly Mason.
The funeral service takes place on August 26, 2025, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 11.10am.
