Mrs Nancy Grant, of Wingerworth has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 85.
Born in Chinley and a resident locally for 62 years, Nancy worked at Ferodo in Chapel-en-le-Frith and The Coal Board in Bolsover, until bringing up her family. She later worked as a market researcher.
Her interests included holidays in the UK and Europe, including caravanning and boating on the Norfolk Broads, birdwatching and family gatherings.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Ray in 2005. She leaves partner Terry, children Jonathan, Jane, Edward and Victoria, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral service takes place on Thursday, January 30, 2025, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 10.50am.
