Mr D. Cogger
New Tupton Mr Dennis Frank Cogger, of The Heights Care Centre, Ankerbold Road, New Tupton, has died, at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 85.
Born in Fleetwood, Kent, he was a resident of this area for 60 years. He worked as a factory operative at Chesterfield Tube Works for 15 years and retired for 30 years.
Mr Coggers interests included watching television, especially sport, he was a keen Arsenal supporter and also enjoyed
reading. He used to play badminton, cricket and football and was closely involved with the Tupton Telstars Junior Jazz Band.
The widower of Joyce, he leaves
son Barry, daughters Janis and Denise, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Cremation at Chesterfield, takes place, today (Thursday, June 16), at 9.30am.
