Mr Paul Bladon, of Bolsover, has passed away at Ashgate Hospice, aged 74.
Born in Hillstown, Bolsover and a lifelong local resident, Paul worked at the Coalite Plant, upon closure he stayed on as a security guard until his retirement.
In his younger years Paul was a talented amateur artist. He was a keen crown green bowls player and enjoyed snooker and darts at the Coalite Social Club. Latterly he enjoyed spending time with his five grandchildren whom he loved and adored.
Paul leaves his sons Simon and Timothy, grandchildren Caitlyn, Alfie, Izzigrace, Millie and Floella, sisters Josie and Pat and brother Stephen.
The funeral service takes place on Friday, February 24, 2023, Brimington Crematorium, at 12.10pm.
