Mr Ray Cooper

Mr John Raymond Cooper of Hasland has passed away on November 9, 2025, aged 90.
Born in Stainsby and a lifelong resident of Chesterfield, apart from ten years in Lincolnshire. Ray had been self-employed for the majority of his working life, prior to his retirement he ran The Herb Garden Tea Room.
He was a Chesterfield FC supporter, played golf, liked his caravan holidays and growing vegetables.
Ray leaves his wife Christine, daughter Lynne Margeret Raynor, son John Dale Cooper, two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, brother Alan, sister Joan, sister-in-law Irene, nephew David, his wife Sharon and Jessica.
The funeral service takes place on Tuesday, December 2, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 11.30am.
