Mrs Rita Stevens of Stonebroom has passed away at home, aged 87.
Born in Chesterfield and a lifelong local resident, Rita was a post lady for 28 years.
Her interests included family, reading and watching her favourite shows on the television.
Rita was predeceased by her husband Geoffrey. She leaves daughters Denise, Sharon and Michelle, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
The funeral service takes place on January 2, Amber Valley Crematorium, at 10.00am, followed by a wake at The Blue Bell, North Wingfield.
