Roger Hartley

Mr Roger Hartley Wingerworth Mr Roger David Hartley, of Wingerworth, has passed away at home, aged 77.
Born in Derby and a lifelong Derbyshire resident, he had lived in Wingerworth since 1976. Roger was a school teacher from 1966, at St Helena, William Rhodes and Brookfield schools, retiring in 1994.
Roger was also a part time ranger in the Peak District National Park for 17 years. He loved walking, gardening, local history, family history and was a member of Wingerworth Bowling Club.
Roger leaves his wife Jean, son David, daughter Joanne Lloyd and five grandchildren.
The funeral service takes place on Tuesday September 21, 2021, All Saints Church, Wingerworth, at 11.30am.
