Ron Lovegrove

Mr Ron Lovegrove, of Loundsley
Green, has died at Chesterfield Royal
Hospital, aged 86.
Born at Kensington, London and a
resident of the local area for 49 years,
he was a retired executive officer with
the Post Office.
Mr Lovegrove was a family man
who umpired in the local league cricket
for many years and was associated
with the AGD cricket club at junior and
senior levels. He was a keen gardener
and secretary/treasurer of Chesterfield
and District Smallholders Association
for many years.
The widower of Nellie, he leaves
son John, daughter-in-law Denise and
grandchildren Sarah and Jonathan.
The service is due to take place at
Loundsley Green Church on Tuesday, October 23, at 2.30pm, followed by burial at Boythorpe Cemetery.
