Long Eaton
Mr Ronald Rayson, of Long Eaton has died at Derby Royal Hospital, aged 92.
Born in Chesterfield, Ronald spent two years in the Royal Life Guards. He moved to Long Eaton with his wife Hazel in 1971. Ronald worked as a Foreman for Stanton & Staveley until the mid 1980's. Then worked as a gardener for the Earl of Lanesborough and later as a School Caretaker.
He enjoyed many activities including collecting Stamps, coins and cigarette cards. Earlier in life he was a keen cyclist and enjoyed snooker.
Ronald leaves two sons Stephen and Blake, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The Service is due to take place at Chesterfield Crematorium, Brimington, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 10:10am.
Any donations will be sent to Prostate Cancer U.K & Dementia U.K.
