Hasland
Mrs Ruth Barson of Hasland formerly of Old Hall Road, Brampton sadly passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 90 years old.
Ruth was born in Shirebrook and a resident of Chesterfield for her whole life. She was a devoted Housewife.
Ruth enjoyed flower arranging, keeping her mind busy with puzzles and playing dominoes.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband Dennis Barson and leaves her three children, Kevin, Dawn and Diane and two granddaughters, Emma and Katie.
Her funeral will take place at Chesterfield Crematorium on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 4:50pm.
Donations in lieu of flowers will go to Ashgate Hospice and can be sent care of the Funeral Directors: B. Hattersley & Sons, 211 Chatsworth Road, Brampton, Chesterfield, S40 2BA. (01246 232820).

Aunt ruth will be fondly remembered by her family here in Australia.. we all eagerly anticipated her visits here...we remember her smile and the beautiful glint in her eyes(particularly when she was in the company of her brother Dennis) her conversation would keep all present encapsulated.Whilst we take time to grieve it is a must that we all smile and celebrate a rich love filled life with family as the solid foundation.All of us here in Australia send love and condolences as Aunt ruth takes one more journey...love to all.
