Mrs Sheila Jackson
Spital
Mrs Sheila Jackson of Spital has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, on July 3, 2025, aged 87.
Born in Brampton and a lifelong local resident, Sheila was a factory worker at Robinsons from 1952-1957, then an usherette at Victoria Theatre, barmaid at the Golden Fleece, Devonshire Arms, Hasland and Spital Hotel, until her retirement in 1997.
Her interests included spending time with family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her garden, and previously enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading, line dancing and genealogy.
Sheila leaves her husband Terry, daughters Elaine and Kathryn, son Stephen, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons Tony and Chris.
The funeral service takes place on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 2.30pm. Afterwards refreshments at Riverside Club.
Family flowers only, donations to Ashgate Hospice are welcome.
