Mullins, formerly of Brampton, Chesterfield, passed away at his home in London on December 12, 2020, aged 50.
Born in Chesterfield, Simon had mainly lived in Brampton before settling in the Camden area five years ago.
He leaves a loving mum Suzanne and dad Ernest, sons Bradley and Rhys and a daughter Sian.
Simon took an apprenticeship at British Coal's area workshops in Duckmanton after leaving school. He worked for engineering firms including GKN Sheepbridge and Toyota at Burnaston. After gaining a science degree he went into teaching for a while but went back into engineering in 2012 with Getinge.
Simon was a fan of snooker, Formula 1 and Liverpool FC. He also enjoyed the Derbyshire countryside, especially Padley Gorge, where he loved to walk.
He will be greatly missed by all his family.
A funeral service is due to take place at Chesterfield Crematorium at 9.10am on Friday, January 8, 2021, with donations in memory of Simon going to the RSPCA.
