Mrs Susan Redfern of Heage has passed away at home,
aged 74 years.
Born in Wirksworth, Susan had
lived locally for 45 years.
In her working life Susan was a
Bank Clerk for Lloyds Bank (Wirksworth) from 1966 – 1977 and Halifax Building Society (Ripley) from 1989 until her retirement in 2011.
Susan's hobbies included cross stitch needlecraft, yoga, romantic ebooks, cooking a traditional 3pm Sunday roast, watching and listening to Tina Turner, adjusting and repairing clothing and watching Strictly Come Dancing but most of all she loved her family.
Susan leaves her husband Paul
and children Neil Freeman and
Gemma Hinds along with
grandchildren Sophie and Emily Hinds.
Susan's funeral service will be held at Amber Valley Memorial Park and Crematorium on Wednesday,
May 7th, 2025 at 11.00am.
