Sylvia Moss of Newbold has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital on October 24, aged 89.
Born in Chesterfield and a lifelong local resident, Sylvia was a seamstress at Chesterfield Co-op, then a shop assistant at Presto.
Her interests included gardening, Andre Rieu and spending time with family.
Sylvia was predeceased by her husband Eric. She leaves son Andrew, daughter Carolyn and their partners, two grandchildren and five beloved great-grandchildren who adored her.
The funeral service takes place on Wednesday, November 19, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 12.10pm.
Any donations in memory of Sylvia will go to The Royal British Legion, these may be given on the day or can be sent to B. Hattersley & Sons, 211 Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield S40 2BA
