Mr Terry Wright of Grassmoor, Chesterfield, sadly passed away at home on January 3, 2025 at the age of 67, with all his family around him.
Terry was born in Chesterfield in 1957 lived there for about ten years and then moved to Dereham for nine years, he then moved back to Chesterfield to live with his grandma Jean, where he later met Pearl and spent the rest of his life.
Terry was a family man. He loved his wife Pearl very dearly, and loved each and everyone of his five children, their partners, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, he had a love for motorsport mainly banger racing. He also spent many a night on his computer playing truck simulator and other computer games, in the summer months he spent a lot of his time pottering around in the garden, he also enjoyed his holidays away with Pearl and family. Terry loved to spend his spare time at the gym with a few of his good friends. Terry loved spending as much time as he could with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, the house was always full of love and laughter, Terry was a very well known Taxi driver where he worked alongside his wife Pearl.
Terry leaves his wife of 48 years Pearl, five children Trudy, Paula, Barry, Cheryl and Carl, their partners, 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Terry's funeral will take place on Friday, January 31, 2025, Saint Paul's Church, Hasland, at 11 am.
