Chesterfield
Mr William Mann, of Chesterfield, has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 79.
A lifelong Chesterfield resident, William was a miner, steel erector and then a part time games keeper on his retirement.
He was a British Field Sports Society member and Waterloo Cup member. His interests included sports, football and cricket, holidays to the coast, walks to the countryside and enjoying a pint with friends.
William was predeceased by his wife Rosemary and leaves behind his son Carl and daughter in law Dawn, son Neil and his partner Cath, grandchildren Leanne, Carla and Joseph, great-grandchildren Holly, William and Jack.
The funeral service takes place on September 1, 2022, St Thomas Church, Brampton, at 11.30am.
Any donations will go to the RSPCA and may be given on the day or sent to B. Hattersley & Sons Ltd, 211 Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield S40 2BA (01246 232820).
