Garrett DOHERTY Obituary

DOHERTY
Garrett
The family of Garrett Doherty would like to express our deepest and most sincere gratitude to all who offered support and sympathy following our terrible loss.
We would like to acknowledge all those who came to Garrett's wake: his old school and neighbourhood friends, his friends and neighbours from The Branch, past work colleagues, our extended families (Doherty, Downey and Gallagher), and other neighbours and friends.
Thank you to everyone who sent flowers, wreaths, mass cards and sympathy cards, and brought food and love and kindness at our saddest time.
Thanks to Bradley and McLaughlin for their professionalism, respect and care. Thank you to Fr Stephen Ward for attending us in Shandon, and for celebrating the funeral mass. Thanks to Garrett's cousins - Kealan, Garbhan, Mark and Marie - for their generous participation in the mass. We also want to acknowledge the beautiful music provided by Isobel Caldwell and Erin Carlin.
To all those involved in Garrett's medical care, in particular the Cancer Centre at Altnagelvin Hospital, we thank you for all your efforts during his illness. Thanks also to Garrett's friend, Amanda Brown, for her unwavering care and support during his fight with cancer.
We will remember Garrett at his month's mind, Saturday 4th October, at 6.15 p.m. at St Patrick's Pennyburn.
