Hugh Mcfeely Obituary

McFEELY Hugh Patrick Died 22 November 2010
The sons, daughters, brother and sister and extended family circle of the late Hugh McFeely wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement. We would like to convey our deep appreciation to Hugh's many friends and neighbours, to those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, floral tributes and letters of condolences. Thanks to all who called at the family home and travelled long distances to be with us. We would also like to thank the staff at Creggan Enterprises for their kindness and support and those who forwarded donations to the Motor Neuron Trust in memory of our brother Brian RIP. Our thanks to Rev Peter Rafferty, Rev. James Devine, Sister Ann and the beautiful singing and music which made the service very special. We would like to extend our thanks to the priests of the parish. Thanks to Johnny Casey, McClafferty Funeral Directors for the dignified manner in organising the funeral arrangements. The family wish to express their deepest gratitude to Park Medical Health Centre, the paramedics and staff at the Accident and Emergency unit and Ward 3 of Altnagelvin Hospital for their professionalism, care and kindness. A special thanks to the home help carers, Myra, Anne, Margaret and especially to Ruth Doherty whose loving kindness will always be treasured by the McFeely family. We know it is impossible to thank everyone individually and trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. It was overwhelming for us to see our father remembered with such affection. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Hugh's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 18 December at 7.30 pm in St. Eugene's Cathedral, Derry.
