1st Anniversary
They say time is a healer and life must go on, but for us that is not so,
For time and life stopped when we lost you John.
You were such a little treasure, our special boy and friend,
You were our brave little fighter, right to the end.
We'll never forget that cold December night, when you were placed into our arms,
And surrounded by your family, you finally gave up your fight.
The angels quickly came calling, they saw you were now at rest,
We know one thing to be true, son, God only takes the best.
So now you are in Heaven and in God's garden you happily play,
You must be having such a ball, John, for there's no more wheelchairs, sickness or pain
So knowing that you're happy will keep us going on,
As we have your wonderful big sister who has been so brave and strong.
And forever in all our hearts you will always live in.

I love you wee bro, there's nothing more to say,
I was so proud to be your sister.
And although I will grow older, in my heart and mind,
Your memories will always stay.
