It's four years since you closed your eyes, no fond farewell or kiss goodbye.
You died alone a young live gone, no one there to hold your hand,
Denied the chance to tell you, I loved the ground on which you stand.

Yet it only seems like yesterday,
As boys we used to laugh and play.
In the turmoil of our teenage years,
how we would often induce each others tears.
On my wedding day, how I was filled with pride,
to have my brother by my side.

Although we had our ups and downs,
love always healed our battlegrounds.
See blood is thicker than water and a brothers bond is strong,
and love will always save the day no matter what is wrong.

There is never a day that passes, that I do not think of you,
the times we spent together and the things we used to do.
Now all that's left are memories, and I will always hold them dear.
although I cannot touch you I know your always near.
