DONEGAN MARY 53rd Birthday Memories In loving memory of a dear devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose birthday occurred on 7th May. If I could have you here today I know what we would do, We'd celebrate your birthday and I'd spend all day with you. I'd write a lovely birthday card and send you pretty flowers, Then I'd take you for a meal and we could sit and talk for hours. Our family would visit us with cards and presents too, For their Mammy and their granny, just to show that they love you. But writing this is hard for me because I can't have you here, And we won't get to celebrate another birthday year. Loved always and sorely missed every day by your loving husband Anthony. Happy birthday wishes, A laugh, a kiss, a hug are all we'd love to give to you, But you are up with God so I hope you're looking down on us, And know that you are missed. And I hope someone up there will pass on our loving kiss. Happy Birthday and forever missed and loved by Peter, Sally, Ronan, Dylan and Bethany. If God could grant just one wish I know what it would be, I'd ask him if my mother could spend her birthday with me. I'd use the time to tell her things I didn't say before, And she'd know that with each passing day I miss her more and more. So many things have happened Mum, we wanted you to share, So many times we needed you and wished that you were there. We think about you always Mum, and talk about you too, We had so many memories but we wish we still had you. Sadly missed by your son Anthony, MIchelle and family. Yet another year without you on this your special day, I love and miss you Mammy and some things I'd like to say, I know that you loved roses so I'll pick the nicest one, And I'll place it on your headstone, Mammy, happy birthday from your son. If you were here today I'd give you a birthday card, I'd write how I'll always love you and let you know how special you are. But I know that you still hear me and see everything I do, So I'll pick the nicest flowers and put them on your grave for you.
