Thanks for the memories!
I just came across this and saw your picture. How easily thoughts and memories flood back when you simply see your name or picture?
I don't believe in speaking in the past tense about someone who has passed on. You live in my heart and my mind and I know your around somewhere laughing at me with your infectious laugh when I do something daft and I think about you often. I miss spending time with you dove and hearing all your funny stories. We got up to some mischief didn't we? Always giggling about something or other or going for a few drinks down the great western for a right old chinwag. I miss those times.. I miss you!
You're probably watching me right this with a frown on your face saying to yourself "what on earth are you whittering on about?" and having a right old giggle but I do still think about you and a little memory will come back now and again and i'll burst out laughing with the whole office will turn around wondering what tickled me.
Even in bad times, I think about what you would say or do if you were here now. "Well can't do anything about it now" you'd say "you've just got to get on with it!" followed by "but i'm around if you need to talk!". Priceless words of comfort in bad times. Actually we'd probably just laugh it off more often than not.. but i've thought of you in the bad times too.
*Frown* Yeah I know.. I'll shut up now!
