DELANEY PAULA 8th June 2008
Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair,
Perhaps you sent a funeral spray, if so we saw it there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words as any friend could say,
Perhaps you were not there at all, just thoughts of us that day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts,
We thank you so very much, whatever the part.
A special thanks to Fr. Patrick Donaghey, U.S.A., Fr. McKenna and Fr. Paige and sisters and staff at Holy Family. Fr. Kearney and Fr. Dunne, St. Eunan's College, Letterkenny, also staff and pupils and friends who travelled. To Sean, Isobel and Maureen for providing the beautiful music. Claire McCauley and the Catering Company and Johnny Casey, undertakers for the dignified way in which they carried out funeral arrangements. We would also like to thank the paramedics at Altnagelvin Hospital and Sergeant McBride, Constable Paul Burns and Constable Gerry O'Kane from Strand Road Police Station.
Month's Mind Mass in Holy Family on Tuesday, 15th July at 7.30 p.m. The Delaney Family.

To My Sister
Words can not express the hurt I felt when you left this world, a connection dismembered a piece of my heart pulled out or a piece of my soul missing for good.
I never got to say goodbye, I never got an opportunity to pull you from your wreckage, I never got a chance to say a word, all I got was the bad news.
I never got to say I loved you and over the years, my hugs grew less and our tensions grew. I remember much of the things that brought about the tension but I remember looking at you and hoping for a beautiful change, your smile I could not say No to and I miss it everyday.
I wish I could have done something but I never got the chance, your brother and your blood. I will cherish you in my heart forever.
