William Monk Obituary

MONK WILLIAM
(Bill)
The sons, daughters and the entire family circle of the late Bill Monk would like to thank everyone who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement. We would like to thank all who called at the house, sent Mass, Sympathy cards and flowers and to those who attended the funeral. A special thanks to relatives, neighbours, friends and colleagues who provided refreshments and helped out in many ways during the wake. We would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses in Ward 40 Altnagelvin Hospital, Dr. Rodgers of Riverfront Medical, the staff from the Western Health and Social Care Trust and all the carers from Glen Caring Services who cared for Dad in his last few months. Sincere thanks to Fr. Canny and Fr. Colhoun for calling at the house and to Fr. Chris Ferguson for the beautiful Requiem Mass and all his support before and after our bereavement. Thanks to the singer and musician for the beautiful music during the Mass. Thanks to Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for their sensitive, dignified and professional service. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our thanks and appreciation.

Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Columb's Church, Chapel Road on Wednesday 19th December at 7.30pm.
