1945 - 2024
With great sadness we announce the passing of Roger,
who passed away peacefully on Tuesday 22nd October 2024,
aged 79 years,
formerly of Park Drive, Mirfield.
Roger, dearly loved husband of the late Mary, much loved dad
of David and Andrew,
dear father-in-law of
Leanne and Sarah,
loving granddad of
Jack, Samuel, Evie and Thomas.
Roger will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
A service of celebration for Roger's life will take place on Friday 8th November 2024 at
St Andrew's Methodist Church,
Old Bank Road, Mirfield
at 2:15 p.m., followed by committal and cremation at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium at 3.15p.m.
Refreshments will be served at Healds Hall Hotel, Leeds Road, Liversedge, where all
are most welcome.

Mr Swithenbank was a kind and gentle man.
He taught me at ravensthope junior school in the late 60s. It was next door to St saviour's church.
So sad to hear of his passing.
