It is with great sadness, the family of Alan Farquharson announce his peaceful passing, on Monday, July 22, 2024, at the Western General Hospital. Alan was a devoted and
loving husband to Margaretann.
Son to Meg and the late Eric and brother to Ian. Beloved father and father-in-law to Claire, Louise,
Richard and Willie. The best grandad
to Max, Oscar and Sadie.
Late of SSEB, Dewar Place and Portobello and Royal Mail, Sighthill.
Service on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 12 noon, Lorimer Chapel, Warriston Crematorium. All welcome.
Family flowers only, a collection on the day for Maggies Centre Edinburgh.
Sorely missed and never forgotten.

I was privelaged to have sat beside Alan in St Muredach´s College in Ballina during the years 1959 to 1962. He was a lovely guy and I enjoyed his friendship and company. I wish to offer my sincere condolences to nis wife and family. May he rest in eternal peace.

Sincerest condolences to all the family you know how I feel 50 years and counting Al it was not only a privilege to know you but an honour not only were you my best mate you were the brother I never had you always played with a straight bat and we loved our trips to Lords seeing Warnie, Muri, Lara et al. Remember "death is not the end" you will continue to be remembered in our memories and our thoughts by all those who knew and loved you
