It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Matthews, age 91, beloved mum and granny, who died peacefully, at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, on June 26, 2025. Alice was a devoted mother, a cherished grandmother and a kind, gentle presence in the lives of all who knew her. Her warmth, wisdom, and quiet strength will be deeply missed.
As per Alice's wishes, a private funeral will be held.
She will be lovingly remembered always.
