It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden, but peaceful death at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, on May 3, 2025 of Anne Cochrane Gilroy, bn January 4, 1941, of Dalkeith. Beloved wife of Walter, mother of the late Graham, sister to Lyall, sister-in-law to Pat, aunt to Ross and his wife Mahsa, and great-aunt to Ayla.
It is with apologies to all her friends who would like to pay their respects, but as per Anne's request, the funeral will be private. I'm sure they can take a minute to contemplate their connection and happy memories of her.
Thanks go to the staff of Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Ward 104 and ITU for their efficient and tender care. No flowers please.
