MULVEY Dennis (Leith) After a struggle bravely borne, at home, on April 28, 2009, Dennis, best friend and beloved husband of Sonja, dearly loved dad to Dennis and Garry and daughter-in-law Jill, adored grandad to Kerri and Ryan, wonderful brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and a good friend who will be sadly missed by all. For a celebration of Dennis's life, a service will be held at Warriston Crematorium Lorimer Chapel, on Wednesday, May 6, at 11 am, to which all family and friends are welcome. Formal wear not required. Family flowers only, please. A retiral collection will be taken in aid of Cancer Research.

Christmas wishes for you
Well my darling it's Christmas Eve an I thought I would send our love from all of us to you, we all miss you so much it always seems so much harder at this time of year. Jimmy is not doing so good , dementia is such a terrible illness so hard for the family, but as u know we have quite a few kids in our family so we have to try and make tomorrow a nice day for them.

To my Dennis.
Hi honey. Wee update on life here. As you know Ryan will be 21 in June I hope u can see how handsome he.is, he is very tall an strong , doing well learning to be personal trainer, he still plays guitar but just for pleasure now. It was not his thing to be in a band.
Our P T is doing well too, Works in a bank an recently been promoted. She is working hard to save money for her own flat.
The wee stars in our family are all doing well Joey an Gregor are doing very good in school.Sean about to start school he will 5 in May.
Lara also. 21 in Nov. Amy just turned 18 and Darren will be 40 soon.
All rest family just plodding along all miss u more than words can express. Jimmy not been to well he had bad fall was hurt quite badly, Chris not so good either.
Alex beginning to feel bit better, him og Lynn having short
Holiday to Amsterdam soon say they are not going to red light district bet they do.
Bruce has met a nice lady (Michelle) they are very happy.
Karen's family all going great too all well and happy.
An last but not least its Alan og Sheree's 40th anni Nov..

Not Quite 5.
Hi Darling.
One of ur sis: having a brain storm, she got her months mixed up, but it lets you know we think about you all the time, alas it is nearly 5 years since we last saw or spoke with you. As Lynn says your family are doing fine miss you like mad, but all ok.Ryan has passed his driving test and soon off on his adventure, Kerri now in Australia having time of her life, Alex/Betty about to celebrate 60 yrs married that's some achievement.Jill now works full time,Den an Jill planning some changes to house.Gregor has started new nursery he seems to enjoy it, he is growing so big it's sometimes like having conversation with an adult, He also loves swimming, an his football.
We are going over to see your pal in Norway, Berit og Dagfin miss you very much too,Dagfin as daft as ever.
Going to carry on ur tradition honey and pour myself a vodka. Cheers.

5 Years but not forgotten
Can it really be 5 years, it still feels like yesterday and you know who misses you more each day and year that passes, she sends her love and kisses and lots of cuddles from Gregor. Hi honey,
Its been a while, but your never far from my heart or thoughts, we all miss you so much.
Its been a very big year honey, Ryan's 18th Jill, Dennis, and karen turned 50, Michael an michelle were married in may, next alec is 80 a small family get together on 22 sept the day after Gregors 3rd birthday party, after that Larra is 18.
Inbetween all that Amy danced in the scotland team and they done very well,
Ryan has applied for camp America which will be great for him and the kids he helps.
P T is going on a six month adventure with her friend to Thailand og other places.She has studied and worked so hard since she got her degree (with honers) this will be good for her. They have done themselves and Dennis og jill so proud.
Joey started school a few weeks ago cant believe he is 5 in November,and Shaun is 2 an half, and keeps everyone on their toes. Joey was a wee star at the wedding singing his heart out , you would loved it.

Hey Mister
Another year on, today is that day!
Auntie Sonja asked me to come on and light her candle and leave a message as she is having computer trouble!!! She is missing you as always and thinks of you everyday. She misses you more and more everyday.
Gregor is getting big and chatting away now, you would be so proud of him. Ryan and Kerri are doing big things this year, Ryan with his music and Kerri is going travelling. The big cruise is next week and its very exciting but you should have been there too, this trip is in your memory.
I miss you too mister but when i think of you now or see a photo i smile. i smile because it brings back lovely memories of you. We can talk of you now and laugh and remember the happy times when you where here.
There is lots going on, im still doing college, which i love. Larra leaves school this year and has her prom and her first girls holiday away, how exciting!!! Amy is competing for Scotland this year in the European championships in Sweden which is just wow! All the grandchildren and nieces and nephews are doing so much to make us all very proud and im sure you will be smiling as you watch them grow from wherever you are, we love you mister.

I tried to leave a message on your birthday last week but something went wrong!! Hope you didn't have too many voddies up there! All well here, im starting college on friday...scary but exciting. The girls are growing up fast and both doing well, Amy training with the scotland squad now. Gregor is soooo cute, he just makes everyone smile, nearly two now. Thats the family just booked 'The Cruise', eventually got mum and dad in there too, glad they are doing it together even though you should be there in person, but im sure you'll be there in your own way. Big day coming up
Hi Dennis - Yes it's a big day tomorrow - no not my birthday although you could send me some sunshine for it please - It's the Hibs - Hearts final and I'm not sure which one to shout for because you and Alex were on opposite sides of the fence on that one - I'll let you decide and which ever one takes it I know you will have enjoyed it too! we are missing you loads. ps, so proud of the kids, Kerry has been accepted for her college course and Darren doing the Edinburgh marathon in memory of you - or at least half of it! xxx L&A
