George, passed away peacefully, at home surrounded by family,
on Wednesday, March 26, 2025,
aged 70. Beloved husband of Cath, loving dad of Keith and Scott,
father-in-law of Claire and Jenni, loving papa and grand-papa.
Funeral service at Warriston Crematorium, Lorimer Chapel,
on Tuesday, April 15, at 11 am, to which all are welcome. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to be made to
St Columba's Hospice.

What a very emotional and fantastic service you received this morning George, excellent turnout it was also great to see so many old boxers, coaches & officials from The Noble Art.
Many former colleagues form your Clerk of Work days all there to see you off
In the photo with you working out on the punch bag is Eric Brown former amateur champion with excellent coaching skills met him today also.

I'm very saddened to hear the passing of my old friend George Forsyth, my thought's and prayers are with all the family and friends at this very sad time.
Your unbroken loyalty of some 40 years too Sparta AAC Boxing Cub, President for some 30 years + where you will be greatly missed.
It was an honour and a privilege to be your Head Boxing Coach at Sparta AAC amateur boxing club 2005-07 from The Old McDonald Road Club to The Dryden Street Club.
My sincere apologies for losing touch my old friend.
