Aged 91, it is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of my inspiring sister Sybil. Sybil was a warrior in every sense, facing life's challenges with grace and strength. Cherished sister of Douglas Smith and the late George Smith and Iain Smith, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Sybil will be laid to rest in her hometown of Greenlaw, on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 11 am, followed by a service at Sybil's much loved Evangelical Church, Ferniehill Edinburgh, at 1 pm, refreshments afterwards with some time to reflect on memories and shared stories of our beloved Sybil.
