Sadly, at the Western General Hospital, on October 6, 2025.
Beloved wife of David Smith.
She leaves behind sisters Sandra Stenhouse, Sylvia Mcghee and
their families.
Will be sadly missed by all her friends who loved and supported her.
A service will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium, Pentland Chapel, on October 29, at 11.30 am. All welcome.

My Aunt Janis was also my Godmother. She was so good to us. I truly enjoyed the time we were able to spend together, especially as there were many miles between us. I will forever cherish our relationship. I´ll miss her voice and her loving, caring words. She was funny in her messages. I preferred talking on the phone but she was always worried about my phone bill. "Bye darling, talk soon", she would say. "Love you lots xx" I´m so very sad that the last message I sent was never read. Love you lots Aunt Janis, you will be missed xx
