Passed away on Wednesday, March 25, at Old Fallings Lodge, aged 90 years.
Bert's Family would like to thank all Staff for their kindness, dedication and care to Bert during his stay with them.
Funeral Service will take place onThursday, April 9, 2009, at Bushbury Crematorium, at 12.15pm.
Family flowers only, donations if desired c/o the Family for Compton Hospice.
Afterwards refreshments at Goodyear Pavilion.

I had the world when I had you, a world filled with love and happiness too, God took your hand and made us part, He closed your eyes and broke my heart.
You left a place no one can fill, I love you now and always will.
You were my life, my help, my guide, you were always there by my side, someone to turn to, loving and true, one in a million that was you.
You may have left me but it's not goodbye, for in my heart you will never die.
I miss you so much Bert.

An eternal memory of a specialDad.
You made the world a better place in your own special way and you're still loved so very much and missed more every day.
Your leaving caused a lot of tears and so much grieving too, it was the hardest thing of all to say goodbye to you.
You gave your love until one day you heard the Angels call and above us now in Heaven lives the best Dad of them all.

A gentle man with many Friends, this is where his journey ends.
The world's asadder place today because my Dad has passed away, he left us quietly without a fuss and broke the hearts of all of us.
He suffered much in silence, his spirit did not bend, he fought for life with courage, until the very end.
A loving smile, a heartof gold, no better Dad this world could hold.
Thank you Dad for the years we shared, the love you gave, the way you cared, you left a space no one can fill, we love you Dad and always will.
