Born December 4, 1927 at Gilbert Road, Smethwick. Worked at the Brades,
Oldbury. Served with the RAF in Ceylon (Sri Lanka).
Gwen and Maurice were married on June 1952 at St Francis Xavier Church in Oldbury.
They were the proprietors
of The Corner store on Mincing Lane, Rowley
Regis from late 1964 - March 1973, when they
emigrated with their 2
Children Linda and
Michael to Adelaide,
Australia.
Gwen and Maurice
regularly returned to
Rowley Regis until Gwen's 94th year.

Died December 9, 2023 in Adelaide South Australia, aged 96.
